A furious mum has claimed her son was banned from school because his mohawk ‘could poke another child in the eye’.
Charlie Chafer, six, chose the punk hairstyle himself and was excited to show it off to his classmate at Drayton Park Primary School in Bletchley, Milton Keynes after the summer holiday.
But his mum Kirstie-Lea Day, 26, said she was called by the school, on Friday, and told her son was not allowed in class before he changed his hairstyle.
The stay-at-home mum said: ‘It is not fair for Charlie to be the only one to have to shave his head.
‘It’s just a small, neat Mohawk – it doesn’t affect his learning, or the other students.’ Read more
