Bruno Mars has thrown some epic yet subtle shade at his own lyrics to the hit song Grenade.
‘Should’ve known you was trouble from the first kiss / Had your eyes wide open / Why were they open?’ he croons in the song’s first verse.
And taking to Twitter, Bruno retweeted Chart Data who revealed that on 8 January ‘in 2011, @BrunoMars’ “Grenade” reached #1 on the Hot 100′.
But instead of being concerned about the fact that the song was released eight years ago (time flies) he instead decided to question his own lyrics, posing the question: ‘But how did I know her eyes were open?’ Read more
