Buhari, yesterday, commiserated with the family of the former President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Ahmed Ibrahim Yakasai, on the passing of their mother, Hajiya Asmau Ibrahim Yakasai, who was 98 years old.
Ahmed Yakasai was also the Consul-General of Pakistan in Nigeria.
Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Femi Adesina, in a statement, said: “The President condoles with neighbours, friends and associates of Hajiya Asmau, whose kindness, charity and dedication to making life easier and better for others continue to yield testimonies.
“President Buhari believes that God blessed the matriarch with long life to accomplish many good works, especially in lifting others, urging the family to approximate her good deeds on earth.
“The President prays for a peaceful rest for the departed mother, grandmother and community builder.”
