Buhari fires Christian pilgrim commission executive secretary (Punch)

President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev Tor Ujah.

A statement signed by the Director of Information, office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, on behalf of the SGF, Boss Mustapha, on Tuesday, said the termination took immediate effect.

No reason was given for the President’s action.

The statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate termination of appointment of Rev. Tor Ujah as the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission. Read more
