Grammy award-winning Burna Boy will perform at the 2023 UEFA Champions League.

The multi-platinum-selling singer is scheduled to co-headline the Champions League Final โ€˜Kick off Showโ€™ by Pepsi, at the Atatรผrk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday, June 10.

โ€˜Odogwuโ€™ would be bringing the energetic Afrobeats vibes to millions of fans before the biggest club fixture in football gets underway.

Announcing the news, Pepsico senior director of global marketing, Gustavo Reyna said: โ€œThe UEFA Champions League final is the stand-out date of the club football calendar, and Pepsi prides itself on marking the occasion with the very best entertainment spectacles.

โ€œThe newly named โ€˜Kick Off Show by Pepsiโ€™ is going to be huge this year; weโ€™re so excited to welcome Burna Boy, one of the worldโ€™s most exciting artists, to the final stage and we canโ€™t wait to see which fans are selected to feature as part of this truly unmissable performance.โ€

Reacting to the development, the โ€˜Last Lastโ€™ smash global hit maker said: โ€œAs a huge football fan myself, I know it doesnโ€™t get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League! Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m so excited to be performing on the Pepsi stage at this yearโ€™s final.

Now in its seventh year, the UEFA Champions League Final Kick off Show by Pepsi, formerly known as the UEFA Champions League Opening Ceremony unites music, sport, and culture through a show-stopping performance.
