Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has vowed to ‘come back stronger next season’ after suffering a devastating Achilles injury against Burnley.
The winger was forced off in the first half after an innocuous fall and Chelsea confirmed after the 2-2 draw that he’d torn his Achilles.
The 18-year-old could miss as much as nine months with the injury, though the club are yet to put a time frame on his recovery.
Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request in January in a bid to force through a move to Bayern Munich but Chelsea rejected three bids for the winger. Read more
