Canadian-Romanian singer Anca Pop has died aged 34 after her car plunged into a river.
The popstar, who released her self-titled debut album two years ago, was identified by authorities after divers found her car submerged in the Danube River on 17 December.
Authorities were alerted to Anca being missing after her sister told police she never returned to her family home on Sunday evening.
Police have confirmed they are investigating Anca’s death; it is unknown how her car plunged into the river in Romania. Read more
