Chocolate City music signee Candy Bleakz has revealed that she was once a fuel attendant before she became famous. The singer described how she shuttled between school and work at the same time just to put food on her table.
While also describing her foray into stardom, Bleakz revealed how she went from earning N10,000 to being able to afford a hair worth N500,000.
She noted that it wasn’t all rosy while stating clearly that hard work and consistency pay.
“I was staying at Ikorodu where I also worked as a filling station attendant and also learned video directing at the same time in Iyana Ipaja,” said Candy Bleakz.
“There was nothing much then as I was earning between N7,000 to N10,000 monthly but also got daily tips from customers. As a student, I always had my clothes inside my bag so I go to work straight after classes. I was able to do that because I work shifts.
”Candy Bleakz is arguably one of the most sought-after singers since the release of her monster hit songs Tinkuku, Won la, and Red. (Nation)
