Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Petr Cech as the club’s new Technical and Performance Advisor.
Cech retired from professional football after last month’s Europa League final which saw Chelsea crush Arsenal 4-1 in Baku.
The match represented the final game of Cech’s illustrious playing career which saw him make 443 Premier League appearances, keeping a record 202 clean sheets.
