Kepa Arrizabalaga may have thought he was doing the best for his team by refusing to be substituted in the Carabao Cup final, but one Chelsea fan was certainly not happy with his decision.
The Spanish goalkeeper refused to leave the field when his manager, Maurizio Sarri, tried to sub him off towards the end of the Wembley clash with Manchester City.
Sarri reacted furiously and the Blues went on to lose on penalties to City, with Kepa saving one spot-kick, but also making a mistake to let Sergio Aguero’s shot slip into the back of the net.
After the contest, as the Chelsea side made their way out of Wembley, one fan was seen to shake the hands of every player, except the goalkeeper. Read more
