Timo Werner is a ‘brutal weapon’ says former boss and current Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, but says he needs to be handled in a certain way to get the best out of him.
Werner has agreed a move to Chelsea this summer and will be making his Premier League debut for the Blues next season after a prolific four seasons in Germany.
Hasenhuttl signed Werner in his first season at RB Leipzig and the striker has gone on to score 92 goals in 155 games for the club, earning his switch to the Premier League.
The Austrian manager is already in England, having taken charge of Southampton in December 2018 and says that English football will suit his former star strike. (Metro)
