Artisans and entrepreneurs in Damaturu have pledged to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in 2019 due to the completion of the 330KVA transmission line in the area.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports the completion of the transmission line has led to improved social and commercial activities in Damaturu.
The group which spoke in separate interviews with on Wednesday, said electricity had remained stable since the switch over from 33KVA to 330KVA, promoting their small and medium scale enterprises.
Malam Ali Umaru, a fabricator in Damaturu, said the stability in power supply had grossly reduced the use of generating sets and money expended on diesel. Read more
