Corona Schools, a beacon of academic excellence, is set to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a series of high-profile events and the launch of a cutting-edge tech hub.
The milestone, says a statement, marks seven decades of shaping future leaders through innovation, discipline and excellence.
The festivities begin on March 6 with an Educators’ Roundtable at the MUSON Centre, where thought leaders will explore the future of education. The pinnacle of the celebrations will be the Black Tie Gala on June 14 at the Jewel Aieda Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. The gala promises an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and inspiring speeches, bringing together alumni, parents, staff and students.
As part of its anniversary, Corona Schools will unveil its Legacy Project—a state-of-the-art tech hub designed to equip students with critical STEM skills. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to preparing students for a rapidly evolving world.
Founded in 1955, Corona Schools has consistently delivered quality education across its campuses in Lagos and Ogun states.
“This anniversary is not just about celebrating our past but embracing the future with renewed commitment,” said Sola Alamutu (GQ), Co-Chairperson of the Gala Planning Committee.
Chairperson Roland Abiola Odukomaiya added, “Together, we are creating an experience that will be remembered for years to come.”
