Anca Arsene, 29, and her now-husband Valentine, 34, have long enjoyed a naturist lifestyle. So it made perfect sense for them to have a naked wedding, too.
On the Italian island of Sardinia on 18 July this year, Anca and Valentine tied the knot completely naked, married by a naked celebrant.
The bride simply wore a veil and jewellery, while the groom threw on a bow tie – just to keep things suitably formal.
‘It was so wonderful standing there, in such an idyllic setting with my husband, naked,’ said Anca.
‘Everything felt very pure and very intimate, because it was as though we were taking each other as we truly are, with nothing covering us up.’
Just two friends were invited to the ceremony – Vlad, who was ordained just so he could marry the couple, and Andrea, the bridesmaid. Read more
