A couple were seen hugging each other just before they jumped in front of a train, an inquest has heard.
Christopher Linley, 34, and 27-year-old Melissa Wood died at Doncaster railway station, in South Yorkshire, on March 27.
Witnesses saw them hugging before they walked off the platform and CCTV footage also showed them embracing, Doncaster Coroners Court heard.
The couple, who both struggled with heroin addiction, left heart-breaking letters for their families at their home where they apologised and said they wanted to be ‘together forever’.
Ms Wood’s mum Lisa Wood said in a statement: ‘I never suspected Melissa would commit suicide, she was always happy, bubbly and never stopped laughing. Read more
