COVID-19 cases, recoveries and deaths in Nigeria for April 2020

P+ Measurement Services, a media intelligence and Public Relations audit agency, undertook analysis to show the weekly growth in the number of cases, discharged cases and death cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria in the month of April 2020.

According to a statement by the agency, the report shows that Nigeria recorded a total number of 1795 new cases in the month of April 2020, while a total number of 308 persons were discharged and a total number of 55 deaths occurred.

The analysis, it stated, revealed that;

– Week 5 in April recorded the highest number of new cases while week 1 and 2 recorded the lowest.

– Week 3 in April recorded the highest number of discharged cases while week 1 recorded the lowest.

– Week 4 in April recorded the highest number of deaths while week 1 recorded the lowest.

In all, COVID-19, since the outbreak in Nigeria has recorded a total number of 1932 cases, with a total of 319 persons discharged and 58 deaths as at 30th April 2020.
