Jay Z has been criticised for working with R Kelly despite being aware of the sex abuse allegations against the singer, according to his former business partner Dame Dash.
R Kelly, 51, is at the centre of controversy over a new Lifetime documentary, Surviving R Kelly, which recounts the years of allegations that he’s had relationships with women as young as 14.
The first episode explores the historic claims that R Kelly, real name Robert Sylvester Kelly, was married to late R&B singer Aaliyah when she was just 15-years-old in 1994. A former backing singer claims to have seen R Kelly having sex with Aaliyah on a tour bus but the late singer’s mother has furiously denied the incident.
