Daniel Radcliffe to play prisoner on the run in Escape from Pretoria (Metro)

Daniel Radcliffe is a far cry from the boy who lived in his upcoming movie Escape from Pretoria.

The 29-year-old returned to filming earlier this week, and was spotted sporting long wispy hair and a scruffy beard as he took on the role of anti-apartheid activist Tim Jenkins.

Dashing through the streets of Adelaide in Australia, the Harry Potter star could be seen dressed in a blue shirt and beige trousers as he brought Jenkins’ story to life.

Back in the late 70s, the convict was locked up in Pretoria’s Maximum Security prison, however managed to escape in 1979. Read more
