Day naked protester flashed Portland police during BLM protests

As protests continue in the US over the death of George Floyd, one woman has gone viral after she put on a confronting display in front of police.

Footage of the woman, who remains unidentified, shows her wearing nothing but a mask and beanie as she sits on the ground with her legs apart.

In a video posted to Twitter, the naked protester from Portland, in the city of Oregon, was seen walking along the sidewalk on Friday night before laying down in the road, kicking up her feet and doing multiple yoga and ballet poses.

She laid naked on the road as she protested in front of Federal law enforcement officers.

Officers were deployed under the Trump administration’s new executive order to protect federal monuments and buildings during rallies.

Officers were standing across an intersection, facing a group of protesters before the naked woman appeared.

Freelance journalist for Vice, Donovan Farley, who captured the footage, said police didn’t know what to do when the woman, dubbed “Naked Athena”, posed nude in front of them.

“I … cannot believe what I just saw,” he wrote on Twitter. (news.com.au)
