Deontay Wilder remains adamant that his next fight will be against Tyson Fury after Anthony Joshua once again stated he wanted a unification fight against the Bronze Bomber.
AJ was at London’s O2 Arena to see Dillian Whyte knock out Dereck Chisora, though he was booed by the crowd when he entered the ring and told Whyte that his preference was still to fight either Wilder or Fury.
The American, who retained his WBC belt after a split-draw decision earlier this month, found the reaction to Joshua highly amusing and wants a rematch with Fury first.
‘I heard they were booing the s*** out of Joshua,’ a smiling Wilder told FightHype. ‘I got some texts or whatever saying the whole entire arena was [booing him].’
There had been some suggestions that Fury would not be ready for a rematch so soon, but Wilder expects to face him next: ‘Right now, it’s all about enjoying the holidays, going into the New Year, enjoying the New Year, then getting back at it. Read more
