Dominic Breazeale has made it clear he will seek a unification fight with Anthony Joshua if he manages to overcome WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder on Saturday night.
IBF, WBA and WBO champion AJ has been looking to unify the division for well over a year, but was unable to negotiate a deal with Wilder despite DAZN stepping in with a lucrative offer.
But Breazeale says Joshua will have no such problems negotiating a fight with him should he beat Wilder in Brooklyn, and is already looking forward to a potential rematch.
Asked if he’d like to take on AJ next if he overcomes Wilder, Breazeale told reporters: ‘Definitely. I would love to be back in the ring 90 days from Saturday night, me and Anthony Joshua, somewhere here on US soil. Read more
