Worried by reported cases of attack on farmlands and travellers, and kidnapping in the South-West region of the country, hunters in South-West on Tuesday threatened reprisals if the aggressive acts continued.
Dr Nureni Ajijola-Anabi, the coordinator of hunters in the South-West, who also doubles as the president, Soludero Hunters Association, gave the warning in an interview with reporters.
He said, “We have been helping to curb criminal activities in Nigeria, particularly in the South-West.
“We are using this opportunity to inform the new Governor of Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde, that we shall give his government necessary support in the area of security.” Read more
