Abba Yusuf Bichi, son of the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi, has knocked singer Teni for ‘disrespecting’ President Muhammadu Buhari.
He castigated Teni for acting ‘arrogantly’ when she was being conferred with a national honour by the President.
Singer Teni joined the list of six entertainers of 443 Nigerians to be conferred with National honours on Tuesday.
The “Case” singer was awarded Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by Buhari.
Sharing a photo of Teni via his Instagram page, the former Golden Eaglets player bashed the singer for not having bowed her head as a sign of respect to the President just like other top honourees did during the event.
He described Teni as ‘orobo with zero sense’ who decided to be arrogant despite being a tribe who are best known ‘for their respect for elders’.
The footballer wrote: “Orobo with zero sense even her excellency okonjo bowed down her head as a sign of respect to the president and commander in chief of the armed forces likewise other high-ranking government officials.
“Who are you not to respect the President? This is disgusting and disturbing. Yoruba people are best known for their respect for elders but it got to your turn and you decided to be arrogant.”
