The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, Kensington Palace confirmed.
Kate and William’s new son was born at 11am on Monday, just hours after the Duchess was admitted to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
A statement from Kensington Palace said: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 11.01am.
“The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well. Read more
