Education board sacks member for associating with speaker Yakubu Dogara

The Bauchi State Universal Basic Educational Board, Nigeria, has dismissed one Tijani Jalla, a member of the board for alleged sabotage of the state government.

According to the letter signed by Yakubu Mijinnyawa, the executive chairman of the board, Jalla was sacked for being an apposition in politics, particularly hobnobbing Yakubu Dogara, the speaker, Nigerian House of Representatives.

The letter reads:

“I am directed to inform you that you have been dismissed from service due to the sabotaged of Bauchi State government by participating fully in apposition politics, more especially by associating yourself to “Speaker, Nigerian House of Representatives.” That Hon. Yakubu Dogara.”
