Nigeria’s most anticipated family festival of the year, Nickelodeon’s NickFest, is returning to Lagos this September. NickFest 2018 in partnership with Maltina will be taking place on 29 and 30 September at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
Performing on the NickFest stage this year are a plethora of A-list Nigerian musical acts including Mayorkun, Falz, as well as Simi and Adekunle Gold.
NickFest provides the perfect opportunity to unleash your inner child and enjoy the world of delightful and colourful Nickelodeon characters. Children of all ages are in for a special treat as their favourite characters from Nickelodeon, NickToons and Nick Jr’s most popular shows take the stage with new stage shows: featuring Dora the Explorer, Boots and her cousin Diego in fun singalongs; the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo will be training and saving the world in a new adventure; Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye and Ryder from Paw Patrol will teach kids about water safety; Shimmer and Shine will need to work together to solve a big problem and our favourite sea sponge, SpongeBob SquarePants has to save the Krabby Patty formula and also get his job back at the Krusty Krab.
Nickelodeon’s NickFest welcomes new partners, Cussons Baby and Nunu Milk who will be joining in the fun with dedicated experience zones for attendees to enjoy at the two-day event. Cussons Baby will be sponsoring the baby changing area and Nunu Milk will be providing an interactive area for kids to play.

What’s it about?
NickFest is Nigeria’s biggest family friendly festival offering fun activities, music and entertainment for the entire family. First held in Nigeria in 2017, NickFest 2018 promises to be even bigger and better with more activities, and even more slime!
Who will be there?
Attendees can expect to see SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Adventure Bay’s intrepid pups, Skye, Rubble Marshall and Chase from Paw Patrol: the feisty and fun Dora the Explorer with her animal rescuer cousin, Diego and Dora’s best pal, Boots to everyone’s favourite genies, Shimmer and Shine.

Hosting this year’s show are radio and TV personality, Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa and Nigeria’s Got Talent maiden edition winner, Amarachi.

This year NickFest will welcome more than 4,000 children and families to the Federal Palace Hotel, transforming the venue into a bright orange Nickelodeon and Maltina wonderland.
