Ex-PDP leaders to Buhari: shun ultimatum for talks (Nation)

Another group of ex-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders, who joined the coalition that formed the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2014, yesterday slammed those who claimed that the group was marginalised.

Last week, a one-time acting chairman of PDP, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, led a group to submit a letter to the APC leadership.

The group claimed that the Buhari administration and the party leadership had neglected its members, despite their contributions to the APCโ€™s success in the 2015 elections.

The letter, signed by former Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, gave the APC leadership seven days to invite them to a meeting on the issues they raised. The ultimatum expires today. Read more
