A dad-of-five is asking the public for help to buy Christmas presents for his children.
Ben Buckley says he doesn’t have enough money to treat his family this Christmas, and admitted he feels ‘shameful’ by turning to strangers.
The 32-year-old from west Hull has started a GoFundMe page in the hope of giving his family a happy Christmas.
Ben had to take time off work to look after his pregnant partner when she was ill, which has left him ‘struggling and panicking’ about their financial situation.
Speaking to Hull Live, he said: ‘I’m feeling a lot of panic and anxiety and feeling shameful. It feels embarrassing but I’ve never felt like going doing that (crowdfunding) before. Read more
