The Catholic Bishop of Jalingo Diocese, Most Rev. Charles Hammawa, on Wednesday said the inaction of the Federal government was responsible for the high rate of insecurity in the country.
Hammawa stated this while distributing relief materials to the Internally Displaced Persons in Jalingo the Taraba State capital.
The Bishop noted that in other climes people who failed in their responsibilities humbly resigned or are sacked by the government, but unfortunately the situation was different in Nigeria.
“If you fail in your responsibility you either resign or you are sacked, but unfortunately we have a government in place that is not just and doesn’t abide by the rules of the game and engagement. Read more
