Chelsea boss Frank Lampard says Mohamed Salah’s ability was ‘clear’ during his time at Stamford Bridge but that the Egyptian suffered due to a lack of opportunities.
The winger joined the Blues in 2013 but made just 19 appearances for the club before joining Roma permanently in 2016.
Jose Mourinho won the Premier League on his return to the club in 2014 and the Portuguese coach favoured the likes of Oscar, Willian and Eden Hazard instead of Salah.
