Chelsea legend Frank Lampard admits he would ‘love’ to see Callum Hudson-Odoi stay at Stamford Bridge but insists the youngster must continue his progress at the club.
Bayern Munich failed with four bids for the winger in January and the 18-year-old handed in a transfer request in a bid to force through a move to the Allianz Arena.
Hudson-Odoi has less than 18 months to run on his existing deal at Stamford Bridge and the club will have little choice but to cash in if he intimates this summer that he will not sign an extension.
Lampard, though, believes Hudson-Odoi is at the best club for his development and says he’d love to see the winger stay at the club. Read more
