Mr Jephthah Robert, the kidnapped cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has regained his freedom from his abductors.
He was whisked away from the front of his residence at Biogbolo-Epie suburb of Yenagoa, the state capital, by the gunmen on January 24.
Austin Ekeinde, the media aide to the founder and chief executive officer of Zeetin Engineering, Azibaola Robert, who is the younger brother of Jephthah, confirmed his release in a terse statement on Monday morning.
He said, “We give all the thanks to God for the safe return of our brother Jephthah Robert Yekorogha, from the kidnappers’ den.” (Independent)
