A four-year-old girl had a lucky escape after she was attacked by a leopard at a circus.
She is said to have suffered a ‘scratch to her neck’ when the animal jumped up at her in Moscow.
Shocking CCTV footage at the time of the incident shows people rushing towards the animal and the girl, while a woman clasps her hands to her face.
Witnesses said the animal was being walked on a leash outside the ring, but was not wearing a muzzle.
The female big cat is said to have knocked the girl down then pulled her about 6ft, as bystanders screamed. Read more
