Gonzalo Higuain’s agent has appeared to rule out the Argentine extending his stay at Chelsea and says the striker wants to see out his contract at Juventus.
The 31-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge on loan in January when he ended a six-month loan spell at AC Milan.
Higuain was offloaded by Juventus following the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer and the Old Lady hoped Chelsea would take up their option of extending the Argentine’s stay at Stamford Bridge by a further 12 months.
However, the former Real Madrid star scored just five times in west London and Maurizio Sarri’s impending departure – as well as a transfer ban – is set to end his time at the club. Read more
