A South African court on Monday ruled that the diplomatic immunity enjoyed by former Zimbabwean first lady, Grace Mugabe is “inconsistent with the constitution”.
The South Gauteng High Court set aside the decision by former international relations and cooperation minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, reports Times live
Judge Bashier Vally, who presided over the court said Nkoana-Mashabane’s decision had been inconsistent with provisions in the constitution.The ministry has also been ordered to pay the costs of the application‚ brought by the Democratic Alliance. Read more
