The 61st Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 10 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The yearly “In Memoriam” segment, celebrating musicians and notable music industry individuals who have died, included figures such as Aretha Franklin, Mac Miller, and Avicii.

Notable exclusions from this year’s televised segment included XXXTentacion, Buzzcocks’ Pete Shelley, Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison, Pegi Young, Richard Swift, and Anticon co-founder Alias.
