Actor Michael Ejoor shared how he was paralysed for a year after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) at the age of six. GBS is a rare autoimmune disorder that can cause muscle weakness, numbness, and paralysis.
Ejoor, known for his roles in films and TV shows like “Tinsel”, “The Olive”, and “Unbroken”, shared in an interview with Pulse that the condition left him paralysed for a year while living in Germany.
Stating that he had to learn how to walk again, he said, “When I was 6, I was paralysed. For a whole year of my life. When I lived in Germany, I was paralysed. I had something called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), so I had to learn how to walk again after a year”. (TheNation)
