How to end the perennial Lagos flood, Lagosians have their say

Every year when it rains in Lagos, particularly that dreaded ‘seven-day-rain’ which goes on and on, flood water takes over. The result is that houses are flooded, the roads are blocked and residents go through a lot of difficulty. Although this has been going on for many years, and the several governments have pitched in to mitigate the situation, only last week when it rained for several days, the flood water was here again and the roads were equally blocked.
