Olawale Kayode-Adedeji, a 26-year-old sociology undergraduate at Esfam University, Benin Republic, and the son of renowned journalist and Penpushing Media founder, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, is stepping into the spotlight with his budding music career.

Known by his stage name “Hundred,” Olawale is gearing up to release a hip-hop single titled Habibi Cover.

The Ijesa-born rising star is the third child and first son in his family. Despite the demands of his academic pursuits, Olawale has found a way to balance his studies with his passion for music.

“My passion for music drives me, and I’ve learned to balance it with my studies. With my course nearing completion, I believe my education will be a valuable asset in the industry,” he said.

Olawale draws inspiration from the late Dagrin, a legendary Nigerian musician, and aspires to leave his mark on the entertainment scene. His music is available on platforms such as Instagram (@officialhundred), Facebook (Olawale Kayode-Adedeji), and TikTok (@official100).

The young artiste acknowledges his family, friends, and fans as a critical part of his support system. “I appreciate everyone who has encouraged me, and I won’t disappoint them,” Olawale said, adding that his ultimate goal is to bring pride to his family and Nigeria.

With “Habibi Cover” set for release, Olawale’s journey promises to blend his academic knowledge with his musical talent. The world waits to see if “Hundred” will live up to his name in the Nigerian music industry.
