Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has stated she will provide evidence to support her sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
During her Thursday appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the senator said: “At the right time and at the right space, I will present the evidence that I have (against Akpabio).”
This statement follows weeks of controversy after Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended on March 6 for “gross misconduct” following a seating arrangement dispute with Akpabio.
After her suspension, Akpoti-Uduaghan accused the Senate President of making inappropriate advances during a December 8, 2023, visit to his Akwa Ibom home. She alleged Akpabio suggested she should “take care” of him to receive favorable treatment in the Senate. (Businessday)
