In four years, I will leave a lasting legacy in Lagos State – Agbaje

Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State has reiterated his resolve to turn Lagos State around for good even in a single term.

The PDP candidate who has remained unshaken in his determination to drive development and prove that certain things are still possible in the shortest possible time, called on Lagosians to support him for a new Lagos.

Agbaje, who promised to bring back the glorious days of the old Western Region under the able leadership of the late Chief Obafemi Awlowo, who left an indelible mark in a short period, added that with vision and determination, nothing is impossible. Awolowo, who will always be remembered for laying a solid foundation in education, agriculture, communication, trade and investment, real estate and human development, to mention but a few, did great things in a few years.

According to him, “for those who are doubtful that long-lasting change can’t take place in four years, the example of Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s government in the old Western Nigeria is instructive.

“Much of the unique and foundational developments were achieved in slightly over four years. And in my administration, I will work had to serve the people of Lagos to drive long-lasting change that will move our great city forward”.
