Grammy-nominated singer Davido has reflected on the immense love and admiration he receives from his fans.
During an interview, Davido recalled a period when he was inactive in the music industry, saying that to his surprise, the entire industry came to a standstill.
According to him, the response was overwhelming, with many people pleading with him to return to music.
Davido noted that even his critics and “haters” were among those begging him to come back, jokingly saying they needed him to diss.
He said: “I knew that people loved me because when I was not active, the whole industry shut down. Like I was ‘Damn they do love me. It’s so quiet out here. David come back. Even the fans that hate me, they were like please come back we need to diss you”. (TheNation)
