The rescheduled match between Bendel Insurance and Enugu Rangers was abandoned on Wednesday, as officials failed to show up for the game scheduled for the University of Benin sports complex.
Players and officials of the visiting team had arrived Benin on Tuesday and trained at the UNIBEN sports complex.
Fans of the Benin Arsenal, who arrived in their numbers, waited endlessly for match officials to come out of the dressing room for the game to commence.
They were however disappointed when they learnt that there was no official from the League Management Company to officiate the match. Read more
