The Lagos Studies Association (LSA) has announced Mr Jahman Oladejo Anikulapo as the recipient of the 2024 LSA Distinguished Personality Award.
A statement by the LSA says this prestigious accolade is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the fields of Lagos and Nigerian studies.
Mr. Anikulapo joins a distinguished list of past honourees, including the late Adekunle Alli, Nike Okundaye, Olasupo Shasore, Aduke Gomez, and Femi Odugbemi, all of whom have left indelible marks on Nigerian culture and academia.
The award ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 28, at 6 pm and will be held at the Multipurpose Hall A, University of Lagos. This event promises to be a significant gathering of scholars, cultural icons and dignitaries celebrating the achievements and contributions of Mr. Anikulapo.
