Joey Barton has landed himself in hot water again after allegedly attacking rival manager Daniel Stendel after Fleetwood’s 4-3 defeat to Barnsley.
Former Manchester City and QPR midfielder Barton is the manager of Fleetwood, his first job as a head coach in football.
Sky Sports claim police are investigating the incident which took place in the tunnel after the game on Saturday.
Tempers initially flared at the end of the game on the sidelines as Fleetwood’s coaching team took issue with Barnsley’s video team filming.
Arguments continued on the way to the dressing rooms before Barton allegedly assaulted Stendel.
