Jose Mourinho admits he has been impressed with Arsenal target Ismaila Sarr and believes the Rennes winger is similar to Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele.
Sarr has been one of Rennes’ star players this season with 12 goals and 11 assists in 48 appearances for the French club.
In March, reports in France claimed that Arsenal held talks with Rennes to discuss a deal for the 21-year-old as he was identified by their former head of recruitment Sven Mislintat as a potential signing to bolster Unai Emery’s attack.
But Arsenal face a fight to sign the Senegal international as he is also wanted by Leicester City, Roma and AC Milan. Read more
