The tension and bad feeling inside Manchester United towards the end of Jose Mourinho’s tenure have been well-documented, but new details are emerging which show just how far back the problems began.
Mourinho fell out with the media, with his players and with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and his position became untenable after a dreadful start to the 2018/19 campaign both on and off the field.
