Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unconcerned by Liverpool’s failure to keep a clean sheet in any of the first three games of the season, dismissing the issue as ‘normal’ at the start of the campaign.
The Reds lost to Manchester City in the Community Shield before beating Norwich in the Premier League and Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup, but conceded in all three matches.
Much of Liverpool’s Premier League success last season was based on a rock solid defence, keeping 21 clean sheets and conceding just 22 goals in 38 games.
