Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised the ‘outstanding’ ability of Sadio Mane and revealed that he could even play a new, deeper role for the team.
The Senegalese attacker has enjoyed a strong start to the 2018/19 season, leading the side’s scoring charts with six Premier League goals in 11 appearances and even out-scoring Mohamed Salah.
Mane lines up predominantly on the left wing for Liverpool, but Klopp believes he has all the qualities required to lead the line or even play a deeper midfield role if required.
‘He is an outstanding player, I never had any other opinion,’ Klopp told Premier League Productions.
