Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on Maurizio Sarri ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Anfield in the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea and Sarri take on Liverpool on Wednesday night, with both sides defending an unbeaten start to the season.
Sarri has downplayed Chelsea’s title credentials, insisting his side is still well behind the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
But Klopp questioned Chelsea’s doubters and revealed he has been massively impressed with the Blues under Sarri’s guidance.
He said: ‘You have seen immediately the impact, he has all my respect. I don’t know why people aren’t talking about them.
‘This team has experience, won title already, 80 per cent twice, they know how it works. That is a really good, strong group.’ Read more
